In gratitude to the VNA’s generous community of supporters, we decided that instead of cancelling our 11th annual Butterfly Release, we will give people the option of taking their butterflies home to release. We’ll miss sharing each other’s company for an afternoon. We’ll miss seeing hundreds of Monarchs take flight at the same time. But the essence of Hope Takes Flight will remain – honoring loved ones in a tangible way which supports Hospice care in our community.
For a donation of $25, you will reserve a butterfly in memory or honor of a loved one. If you are unable to pick it up, our volunteers will release it for you.
Pick-up instructions will be mailed with your gift acknowledgment. We plan to stagger pick-up times to avoid a traffic jam, but you will not lose your reserved butterfly/ies is you are unavoidably early or late.
