RN Quality/Compliance Coordinator-Full Time
The Visiting Nurse Association of Indiana County is seeking an experienced RN with analytical knowledge and interpersonal skills to join our team as a full-time Quality/Compliance Coordinator.
The Quality/Compliance Coordinator plans, implements and evaluates the Clinical Quality and Performance Improvement programs for VNA Home Health and Hospice.
Develops, implements and evaluates a written plan for clinical performance improvement measurement activities, including outcome based quality improvement plans. The clinical improvement plan is implemented in the overall agency improvement plan.
Serves as a member of the Agencies Performance Improvement Resource Group.
Acts as HIPAA Privacy Officer and Corporate Compliance Officer.
Develops, implements and evaluates a plan for utilization review following criteria set by accrediting organizations and standards of care. Serves as chair of the utilization review committee.
Identifies, in conjunction with the Clinical Managers, trends or patterns in OASIS assessment which may require instruction or coaching to improve staff competency and improvement in patient outcomes.
Monitors and assures compliance with federal, State, and local laws and regulations, to include Medicare and accreditation body.
Coordinates VNA staff Education and Development.
Plans, develops and implements direct care staff orientation.
Assesses staff education needs, develops, plans, organizes and evaluates continuing education programs for direct care staff as appropriate. Maintains documentation and recording of staff educational activities.
Monitors and evaluates the infection control program and plan.
Monitors and evaluates all employees incidents utilizing the Work related Incident Report.
Requirements: RN License in stat of PA. BSN preferred. 3 years experience in Home Health Supervision/Education
